Meet the

Owner

 

Donna Lynch brings 30 years of experience in the furniture industry to Welcome Home.
 
Having owned retail furniture stores for 21 years, she has invaluable experience buying and merchandising her sales floors with the latest furniture and complimentary accessories. After selling her retail business she became a manufacturer representative for many furniture and accessory lines. She worked in both sales and design, staging showrooms in both the North Carolina and San Francisco furniture markets. Donna is the mother of two and a grandmother.  She holds a degree in Home Economics from California State University Sacramento.
 
Welcome Home Staging is now one of the largest collections of furniture inventory in the business, filling a 21,000 square foot warehouse in Dublin, California making it Northern California's only furniture rental company catering exclusively to the staging and real estate industries.
 
Tanya Kudriavtseff, General Manager: 
 
What I love the most about staging is that you start the day with a blank canvas and by the end it is completely transformed into something beautiful. I have worked at Welcome Home for eight years. I grew up in a family who has been involved in the furniture industry since I was a baby. I was born in the Bay Area and lived here most my life. I always enjoyed looking at different homes and seeing peoples tastes and style. Design and architecture was always an interest and so it was only natural to be drawn to staging. I hold a BA in Psychology from The University of Washington.

TEAM

Sue Alparone, Office Associate:
 
I have always been interested in furniture history and design. I enjoy browsing and shopping through flea markets and antique stores. Shopping for antiques was something my father especially enjoyed and it is now one of my passions. I collect Roseville and McCoy pottery. Mixing the old with new is my design style. My business background includes over 30 years in the home furnishings industries.  I worked as an Associate Buyer for Breuners Home Furnishings as well as a manager of  The Home Catalog Center. I joined Welcome Home Furniture in 2010. Helping our stagers transform a house into a beautiful home, ready for the market, is very satisfying.
Lauren Weil, Dispatch: 
 
I joined Welcome Home in 2015 with past experience in marketing and customer service in a variety of industries.  I am responsible for routing all of Welcome Home's services. 
Cindy Young, Inventory Control Associate:
 
After 25 years working as a licensed child care provider in my home, I made a career change by joining the team at Welcome Home Furniture in the summer of 2013. Working for Welcome Home has enabled me to learn many new office and computer skills. With the patience and kindness bestowed upon me by the Welcome Home team, I have increased my knowledge about the home staging and furniture business. I have enjoyed the fast pace of the business and the new people that I have met.
Catherine Groenewold, Staging Support: 
 
As an artistic person with a strong interest in home decorating, the opportunity to work for a home staging company was a perfect way to re-enter the work environment after years spent raising my family. My professional background is an unusual mix of sales office management and decorative painting. Since coming to work for Welcome Home in January of 2014, I have enjoyed the energetic and professional atmosphere in the office. Being able to use my organizational and creative skills daily in my position make this a rewarding job.
Teresa Hrubesh, Accounting:
 
I came on board as Bookkeeper in August 2014 and love working in this busy, growing environment. I bring with me years of both retail and construction trade administrative experience, and feel right at home here in the accounting office. I studied art history and photography in my college days at San Jose State University, but over time I have developed a skill for numbers and organization that has brought me to this career. I enjoy working with and around all of the creative energy here, and am proud to be part of the Welcome Home family.
Kelly Israel, Home Stager:
 
As the newest member of the team, I have loved being able to work closely with many of the very experienced group of stagers at Welcome Home.
Taylor Peters, Home Stager:
 
Prior to working for Welcome Home, I spent 4 years in San Diego managing the Retail Merchandising team for the local Apple Retail stores. I have always been a “creative type”, surrounding myself with art, design, and anything else aesthetic. After moving back home to the Bay Area, a friend introduced me to 
Welcome Home and I found the perfect fit. I haven’t looked back since.
Luis Topete, Assistant Staging Manager & Lead Home Stager:
 
I have worked as part of the Welcome Home team for the past 8 years. Because I started working with Welcome Home when they were first growing, I have been able to sharpen my skills in every area of the business. I have a great knowledge of our inventory and often assist in picking out furniture for our staging jobs. Working on the staging end of the business, I have been entrusted to lead staging jobs and oversee all aspects of the job including furniture placement and picking out art and accessories. I was promoted to Assistant Staging Manager in June of 2014. 
Jose Ochoa, Warehouse Manager:
 
I started my career working with furniture as a driver delivering furniture for 2 years.  After that, the Home Catalog Center hired me and I worked with them for 9 years. I also spent some time working at Old World Antique Furniture and learned how to repair, refinish and reupholster furniture.  After, I spent time remodeling apartments until I eventually joined the Welcome Home Team in May 2010.  
Arturo Tolento, Assistant Warehouse Manager:
 
I have been working in the furniture industry for the past 17 years.  I joined the Welcome Home team in 2012. I enjoy working at Welcome Home because of the owners and my coworkers.  I think the company has grown and matured and the team we have now works really well together.  
Manuel Avalos, Warehouse & Staging Associate:
 
Prior to working for Welcome Home, I was a professional mover for four years. Having worked closely with Welcome Home for years delivering furniture, I was interested in learning more about the staging side of the business. I was interested in picking out the furniture and helping to decide what looks good 
together. I enjoy helping the stagers pick out their bedding and art. I pride myself on being organized and structured. Thanks to Welcome Home and all of the people that work here I am getting the experience and knowledge that I wanted. I hope to continue to learn and grow here at Welcome Home.
Antonio Gil, Warehouse Associate:
 
I have many years of experience working in various industries, including landscaping and garden designs. I joined Welcome Home in March of 2014. I am very happy working with the Welcome Home team and enjoy an environment where I can learn and grow from others.
